Returns & Refund Policy

Thank you for shopping with Showroom Kit.

Because we sell secondhand and pre-owned items, we encourage customers to read product descriptions and measurements carefully before making a purchase.

Return Period

We have a 5-day return policy, which means you have 5 days after receiving your item to request a return.

Please include your order number and reason for the return in your message.

Items returned without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Eligibility for Returns

To be eligible for a return:

• The item must be in the same condition as when you received it
• The item must be unworn, unused, and with original tags or packaging (if applicable)
• You must provide proof of purchase or order confirmation

Once your return request is approved, we will provide instructions on where to send the item.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned:

• Items purchased on sale or clearance
Gift cards
• Items that have been worn, used, washed, or altered after delivery

Change of Mind and Size

Due to the nature of secondhand and vintage items, we do not accept returns for change of mind.

We also do not accept returns for incorrect size selection. Measurements and size details are provided as accurately as possible in each product listing, so please check these carefully before purchasing.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order upon arrival.

If you receive an item that is:

• damaged
• defective
• significantly different from its description
• or the wrong item

please contact us immediately at showroomkit@gmail.com so we can evaluate the issue and resolve it.

Exchanges

We do not offer exchanges. Most of our items are one-of-a-kind secondhand pieces, so replacement items may not be available.

Returning Items

If your return is approved, you will be responsible for the cost and risk of returning the item.

Returned items should be sent to: (Auckland) We will send you the complete address via email.

We recommend using a tracked shipping service, as we are not responsible for items lost or damaged during return shipping.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you whether your refund has been approved.

If approved, your refund will be issued to your original payment method used at checkout. Payments on our website may be processed through secure providers such as Stripe.

Please note that it may take several business days for your bank or credit card provider to process the refund after it has been issued.

Consumer Rights

Nothing in this policy overrides your rights under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act. If a product is faulty or not fit for purpose, we will meet our obligations under applicable New Zealand consumer law.
